MAAE

My Capstone project for my MAAE was Arts-Based Action Research. I chose to study the inclusion of sensory experiences with visual journaling to tell my story. My goals included how to incorporate this into my teaching (Strategies to incorporate more meaning and expression into art). I had two weeks to create a new series of work through hands-on exploration. This resulted in my new series of 5 24” x 30” acrylic on canvas paintings.

This process was very rewarding and exhausting- I am not participating in any shows this summer. Instead, I will be working on new work, posting as I go. If anything speaks to you, please reach out!!
